Brown Family History

History of Robert Brown & his wife Ann Whitfield:

Robert Brown was born on April 13, 1818 and died Jan. 18, 1902, at the age of 84.

His wife Ann Whitfield was born on April 4, 1833 and died March 26,1887, at the age of 54.

They were married in Northumberland, England on April 13,1850.

Around Sept 15,1867 they sailed from Liverpool, England with their 8 children and landed in Boston Sept. 15,1867.

They moved to London Township in Middlesex County and within 4 years they moved to Lot 6, Con. 14 Tilbury East where 2 more children were born.

In 1893 the Pere Marquette Railway was built.

  1)  Benjiam born May 06,1851 died Sept. 25,1933. 7 children.

  2)  Thomas born Jan. 25,1853 died Apr. 23,1901 no children.

  3)  Joseph born Jan.07,1855 died Mar.24,1937 5 children.

  4)  Elizabeth (Struthers) born May 24,1857 died Jan.11,1897 4 children.

  5)  Jane (Jones) born Nov. 30,1859 died Aug.10,1932 5 children.

  6)  John born Apr.24,1862 died July 02,1935 6 children.

  7)  Robson born born Oct.03,1864 died Mar.29,1930 6 children.

  8)  Henderson born Sept.13,1867 died Nov.03,1939 2 children.

  9)  Ann (Grey-Connor) born Feb.03,1873 died 1920 3 children.

  10) Issac born Jan.07,1876 died Nov.16,1955 9 children.
